We are a well-established business in Concord; our old-fashioned pasty shop has been located in Concord for over 40 years where we have been baking and crafting delicious confections and fabulous cakes. Alpine’s owners were trained and certified in Switzerland and settled in Concord in 1985. With ten years of working experience at Alpine, the purchase of this delightful Pastry shop was decided in 1995. Outgrowing our location on Clayton road, in 2016 we moved our business to 1848 Willow Pass Road. A bigger and better location and just across from upper Park&Shop. Alpine is one of the last real pastry shops in the area and we are continuing what we do best: dazzling customers with sweet delicacies! Saw this bakery when coming out from the nearby plaza, so I decided to check it out. I was intrigued by the selection of pastries. The bakery is big, and the staff courteous. I was so tempted to buy the big cake which caught my attention right away when I walked in; but I ended up buying different flavors of macarons. After trying, I have to say they belong to the bad macarons category--size too big, bumpy shells, & too much sugar--one of the worst I've tasted. Very disappointed!! Now I'm very hesitant to try the cakes, although they looked good.

Coffee was lukewarm. I asked for a warm up in microwave but she gave me another cup of lukewarm coffee. Cup of 12 ounce coffee was only 2/3 full so it is only 8 ounce really. Pastry was good.

Everything they have is a delight! Their cupcakes are delicious, and their brownies decadent. My personal favorite is the princess cake, which has marzipan covering the outside. Their baked goods are always fresh, and their service has always been prompt for us.
